While genuine full-grain leather possesses natural water-shedding resilience against light rain and coastal mist, it is not an impermeable synthetic raincoat. Our hides receive a natural hot-stuffed wax and drum-conditioned oil finish that allows water to bead up on the surface. If caught in heavy downpours, allow your jacket to dry naturally on a wide contoured wooden hanger away from artificial heaters, and replenish every 6 to 12 months with natural beeswax leather conditioner.
